Xpod-HP & DSP.net

Using the latest generation of output devices, each channel of the Xpod-HP can deliver 1,250 Watts RMS in to 2 Ohms continuously, or up to 2,500 Watts when bridged into 4 Ohms. Unusually these are not, ‘transient’, ‘burst’ or ‘peak’ power figures, they are the power levels that are delivered by both channels simultaneously even when driven with the same dense program material.

Xpod-HP

  • Two channels of highly efficient sonically pure Class D amplification

  • Unique, precise, 96kHz Digital Signal Processing

  • Universal mains input switch mode power supply that allows ‘all the power all the time’

  • 2,500 Watts RMS total output

  • Driver impedance monitoring

  • Separate OEM and user settings

  • BvNet for simple ‘daisy-chained’ networked operation.

  • Preset recall via contact closure ports and remote shutdown for easy system integration

  • Fully designed and engineered by Linea’s in-house development team

  • Manufactured, tested, and supported entirely in the UK

With Linea amplifiers there is no need to ration power between channels, you can use all the power you have paid for all the time.

Each X-Pod-HP module contains a DSP.net card, an advanced 96kHz digital loudspeaker management subsystem. Despite being ultra compact, DSP.net is a fully featured no compromise platform that provides an array of unique and genuinely useful features. Because all aspects of the DSP algorithms are designed and hand crafted in house by Linea, many are not available on products from any other manufacturer. For example, LIR linear phase crossover filters which are as easy to use as more conventional filter shapes, and have less latency than FIR filters.

Linea's PodWare PC application provides real time control and monitoring functions to either single units or whole networks of products. Sophisticated protection systems continuously monitor all aspects of performance to ensure that the X-Pod-HP and associated drivers are always working within their safe operating areas.

The X-pod-HP is supplied as a complete, cased, ready-to-go unit that only requires the addition of a mounting plate and suitable connectors to realise a loudspeaker power module capable of meeting all international safety and EMC requirements.
