LINEA'S DSP SYSTEMS

2,500W at 4-ohms and fully loaded with Linea's class-leading networked DSP systems.

The High Power variant of Linea’s dual channel X-Pod amplifier module is now shipping in volume. Generating 1,250W per channel at 2-ohms, the new power system allows multiple cabinets to be driven from a single unit. Developing 2,500W at 4-ohms in bridged mode, it makes a perfect partner for modern dual driver low frequency cabinets.

Generating 2.5 kW across two channels, the High Power version of Linea's X-Pod module is now shipping in volume. Impressive though this specification is, the features of the new powered speaker system extend well beyond kilowatts of raw grunt: Dual Linea Research Class D amplifiers, integrated power supply, premium Sharc DSP’s, precision filter algorithms, networked control, real time monitoring, performance logging, voice selection and driver fault detection – a modern day wish list for loudspeaker power systems.

The acknowledged reputation of Linea Research for producing the finest Class D amplifiers has not been achieved without good reason. The original X-Pod model, now in regular use in thousands of loudspeakers from prestigious brands continues to serve well, and has proven its reliability, functionality and sonic purity. The new HP version is built on exactly the same ‘engine’, and thus inherits the high feature set and reliability of its sibling.

X-Pod HP reinforces this commitment by providing two channels, each developing 1,250W into 2-ohms, opening possibilities for powering multiple cabinets from a single power unit. This enables manufacturers to provide top end performance at a price only matched by commodity amplifiers and processors.
