MiniPod and DSP Micro

Available in models offering either 200 Watts or 400 Watts RMS, MiniPod is optimised to deliver it’s output power in to an 8 Ohm load which makes it the perfect choice for creating a range of active speakers that mirror passive models using the same drivers. MiniPod is at ease driving passive crossovers further aiding it’s integration with two or three way systems. On board anti-clip and power throughput limiters protect the drivers from damage even when not used with any additional processing.

Although perfectly suited for use with analog input processing, Linea can also supply DSPmicro, a very low cost fully featured DSP platform. Mounted externally to the MiniPod, DSPmicro is Intended to replace traditional analog input processing. Including connectors, user controls and LEDs, DSPmicro offers a range of filtering and limiting options that can be loaded with the settings for a particular system by the manufacturer. This can dramatically reduce inventory. Further cost savings can often be made by taking advantage of DSPmicros extensive EQ capabilities to reduce the cost and complexity of the passive crossover in multi-way systems.

MiniPod is supplied as a complete, cased, ready-to-go unit that only requires the addition of a mounting plate and suitable connectors to realise a loudspeaker power module capable of meeting all international safety and EMC requirements.
